Frequently asked questions
Are KUGA coolers really built to last?
Absolutely. Every KUGA cooler is made using rotomoulded construction, the same process used in high-performance kayaks. That means no weak spots, no thin walls — just solid, impact-resistant durability designed for South African conditions
What if something goes wrong with my cooler?
We’ve got your back. Every KUGA cooler comes with a 4-year warranty and dedicated customer support. If there’s ever an issue, our local team will help with repair or replacement — quickly and hassle-free.

How do I clean and maintain my cooler?
It’s easy: rinse with mild soap and warm water, leave it to air-dry, and avoid harsh chemicals. For long-term care, store it with the lid slightly open to prevent moisture buildup.
How strong is a KUGA cooler?
Stronger than you’d think. We actually parked a Ford Ranger Raptor on top of one of our coolers — and it didn’t even flinch. The body is made from rotomoulded polyethylene, the same process used to make white-water kayaks, which means there are no weak points or seams that can split under pressure.
It’s built to handle serious weight, rough terrain, and years of use — whether it’s tossed in the back of a bakkie, used as a seat at the campsite, or, apparently, parked under a Raptor.
Can I use dry ice inside a KUGA cooler?
Yes — KUGA coolers can handle dry ice safely. Just make sure there’s some ventilation when you open the lid, as gas buildup can occur in airtight containers.
